Barney Fife was better organized and more accountable. The Secret Service is given responsibility for avoiding a calamity that would traumatize the nation and derange its politics for years, perhaps decades, to come. Its competence is a matter of the utmost national consequence. Yet the agency was bumbling and slow-reacting, a disaster waiting to happen. Surely, this sort of ineptitude wouldn’t be tolerated by Taylor Swift’s security detail.
The Secret Service, which we expect to be run with a vigor and precision befitting its mission, instead operates as though it’s a typical bureaucratic outfit housed within, say, the Health Resources and Services Administration. The Senate report relates “multiple foreseeable and preventable planning and operational failures,” as an armed man was permitted to climb atop the roof of the American Glass Research building within 200 yards of where Trump was speaking and get off eight shots.
The story of how it happened is muddled by finger-pointing and confusion over who was in charge. Secret Service advance agents didn’t know who was responsible for final decisions, and didn’t know who determined the security perimeter for the event. State and local law enforcement were responsible for the AGR building because it was outside the perimeter. But advance agents didn’t share planning documents with them, and didn’t ask for the operational plans of state and local law enforcement.

When will it dawn on people that Butler was a deep state hit. It wasn’t a massive Secret Service failure. It was that all deep state agencies sat back and passively let it happen. Mayorkas has been deathly silent.
And then there’s Capitol Police who threw teargas into the wind at peacefully protesting Americans. Then they complained that they got tear-gassed.

Spot on. The incompetence that was seen was part of the plan. It’s not that the organization is incapable — it’s important to recognize that this was a government hit that didn’t succeed.
The assassination attempts are being swept under the rug to hide their true intentions: They allowed circumstances working for assassination to go on without taking actions to stop them. It is like discovering your child playing with matches and not stopping him; so he burns the house down, so you can collect the insurance money.

There are to be FOUR rings of security. Ring one is comprised of the poor saps who are to throw their bodies on Trump and/carry him to secure X mrks, ring two are comprised of the snipers and crowd workers, ring three secures everything 1000 yards out, creating a wall - which was non existent and only a smattering of the local cops who weren’t even read in to existing threats, ring four was likely non existent or with Jill Biden. The solution? They want more money from congress and those dopes will comply.
When all is said and done, the Secret Service came out a lot wealthier. Huge budget increase.

It has been my opinion for a long time that there should be a citizen oversight group that the top managers at each Fed agency would have to be accountable to.
The purpose would be to allow them to ask for records as to how the tax money was spent and to make public their findings. Similar to a Grand Jury. This citizen group would have the authority to expose anyone in Fed Government.
If someone like Myorkis were investigated he would be forced to resign in 30 days or else.
