War planners plan for war. It's what they do. Whether it's the actual troop movements or the weapons capabilities needed in the next generation of weapons, there are a lot of people in the Pentagon making plans and estimates. I would be very disappointed if these plans and a hundred others for war against Russia, China or both simultaneously weren't prepared and being constantly revised.

Less likely wars, like the strategic bombing of Andorra were probably knocked off in an afternoon as a class exercise for some captain.

I really don’t think we should be talking about a war with Russia. We are not going to be able to get those 30,000 Haitians and those millions of people from other countries, who came to our country to escape tyranny and make better lives for themselves, to go over there to help defeat Russia. Basically it’s going to be the people who have already been here that will go over there to be fighters.
