To: Harmless Teddy Bear
It might actually be a good thing that a government bureaucrat only does 15 minutes of work a month.

A fear the younger more energetic bureaucrats are the ones burning the midnight oil in order to banish oil and other essentials from our lives.

If this is the direction we're going into, ideally we'll want our government to be more like South Africa. Incompetent and corrupt. So they won't do much to interfere with our lives.

If they were the ones who were doing the damage I would agree with you but one of the things that people do not understand, is that all the rules and regulations are being written by private companies with government contracts.

So we are paying several times for the same hot mess.

The dirty little secret in DC is the vast workforce of contractors who do a lot that Feds should be doing.
