Four people were killed and at least 21 others injured when “multiple shots” erupted in a popular entertainment district of Birmingham, Alabama Saturday night as police assured they will “hunt down” those responsible.
Birmingham Police said it was responding to the scene where “multiple people were shot with possibly multiple casualties just after 11 p.m. near 20th Street and Magnolia Ave. in Five Points South, a popular nightlife section of the city.
The Five Points South area has numerous entertainment venues, restaurants and bars and often attracts large crowds on Saturday nights.

It’s just more of that thing called gun violence. Don’t ask questions about who was involved in the shooting. It was the gun that carried out the violence. I wonder what would happen to the statistics on the number of shootings in America if they excluded black people from the equation?

These are Glock switches they require no major gunsmithing to install. They fit on the base end of any Glock handgun you do a basic field strip of the slide stick it on the buttend and reinstall the slide the switch then has a left / right position one way the sear us active and semi automatic as normal operation. The other way has a depress arm that pushes down the striker pin sear so when the slide comes back to battery the striker pin is let go automatically setting off the next round as long as the trigger is fully depressed. The switch itself is a NFA 1986 machine gun and can only be possessed by law enforcement of military users legally its a huge federal level felony to even possess one and each one is a 20+ year fed offence.
They are available from aliexpress or Alibaba via international mail or people 3D print them. DO NOT go to Alibaba looking for them unless you want to end up on someone’s watch list. People use VPN or the dark web if they know what they are doing. So yeah they are super easy to get, use and are common in street culture. One of my lawyers has a case right now where the guy is a cartel underling he got caught with a dozen switches and boxes of 100 round drum mags he is looking at effectively life in prison for it. So that’s the other source the cartels sell them on the street to our native thug culture as well.
