California Law says that you can use deadly physical force if someone breaks into your house, however, if you have an avenue of escape, you must take that option before using deadly force. It’s the same way in New York State. You can shoot someone that’s broken into your home, but if it is determined that your life wasn’t immediately at risk, and you had a way of getting out of the house without engaging the perp, you will be charged if you used a weapon.
....but anyone breaking into her country is perfectly welcome.
