Did progressive women ever have brains to begin with? Or, were they… always this way? Here’s the story, from a report at Breitbart News:
Harris Campaign: ‘Tough to Define’ ‘Price Gouging’ She Wants to Ban
On Wednesday’s broadcast of ‘NewsNation Now,’ Harris-Walz surrogate and National Finance Committee member Lindy Li acknowledged that the ‘price gouging’ that 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris wants to ban is difficult to actually define.
Per the article, host Connell McShane first broached the topic by asking Li if she agreed that it was a term “tough to define” — this is how she responded:
Li answered, ‘It is tough to define, but even [Kroger] did allude to the fact that they jacked up prices faster than inflation.’
Okay, while I don’t know what exactly Li is referring to, the data doesn’t lie; looking at the last 14 years of financial data (2010–2024), Kroger operated between a .01% and 3.02% net profit margin. That’s not price gouging, and since Li evidently doesn’t have a clue, allow me to point her in the right direction.
Credit card companies with their surging interest rates, already in the 25%–30% range; President Trump addressed this at a massive rally in Long Island last night:
BREAKING: Trump announces that as president, he will immediately implement a temporary 10% cap on credit card interest rates
"We can't let them make it 25% and 30%."

Colleges and universities, especially the Ivy League and private institutions, which have raised tuition rates by astronomical rates.

What about the Democratic National Committee selling convention suites at a price that was 9,075% higher than what they typically cost? Is that NOT price "gauging" ( as per Kamala herself ) ?
How about government Tax Gouging ?
Has anyone seen her mouthpieces giving some examples of HOW to get the capitalist “price gouger” rich people and stop them?
How much “gouging” for instance can a supermarket mogul do within the tiny possible profit range? If customers stop buying the pre-made meals and fried chicken and salads in the back displays then the company has to close stores.
Example: “Grocery stores typically see profit margins ranging from 1% to 3%. This means that after accounting for all expenses, including cost of goods sold and operating costs, the business retains 1-3% of its revenue as profit.”
The class warfare resentment of poor and middle versus the top wealthy has been used since Lenin was alive.
And once again, how rotten can the woke CEO’s be to go along with the Dems who will target them for poverty on “day one”?
Kissing up to BLM and Kamala will not buy them any mercy.
Price gouging definition: When an item cost more then some Karen thinks it should.
Harris is stupid.
It works sort of like misinformation. It’s what they left doesn’t like.
The same “Karen” that has NEVER balanced a checkbook or reconciled one to the monthly bank statement.
Just my personal opinion but I believe that the hotel/motel industry are guilty of price gouging.
As much as Harris’s staff turn over rate is wonder how many financial committee members she fires in a week.
She gives one golden rule to live by NEVER WORK FOR A CRAZY PERSON.
General Mills' profit falls 14% on inflation woes, margin pressure
RE: Just my personal opinion but I believe that the hotel/motel industry are guilty of price gouging.
Yeah, what about the Higher Education industry?
What about the Healthcare industry?
What about the Housing industry?
Pretty soon if everyone is deemed to be price gouging, the government takes over everyone of them…
When is the last time you tried to get a hotel/motel room in a locale with something special going on and the price jumps over a hundred dollars in a days time. When we had the snowmegeddon on the East Coast back in Feb 2010, hotel prices from Maryland up tht coast jumped drastically. Yet, if gas stations raise their prices, everybody screams to high heaven.
