Since Max Yearick (the son of the ostensibly Crooks's van's actual owner (Roger Yearick (died 2018)) was associated with ANTIFA, arrested back in 2016 for being involved in an anti-Trump protest in Pittsburgh, and was also a member at Crooks's shooting club, the Clairton Sportsmen's Club (CSC), I expect we'll ultimately learn (in 2123?) that Crooks learned his explosives manufacturing skills via ANTIFA and met DHS and FBI-types at the CSC.

So being a CIA asset is entirely de rigeur!
