It all depends on how many of the real decision makers are lined up with Harris or Trump. Musk (just an example) this time around is with Trump, so are a few others. Some, after much criticism in the last elections, have promised to keep a lower profile and not meddle as much, example Zuckerberg.
Our democratic process is a farce. People will vote for who they are told to vote for. The folks who own the media or to whom it is beholden, big tech, and finance the political apparatus are the same people. They are the ones that overwhelmingly decide who gets elected.
