I guess they won’t even bother to get their sworn statements.

That doesn’t absolve them of responsibility in the matter.

“That doesn’t absolve them of responsibility in the matter.”
But there’ll be no consequences for them here on earth. Lois Lerner. Strzok. Page. Etc.

We knew within minutes after the assassination attempt there were massive security failures.
What we want to know is were these failures occurred intentionally.

"Per the Washington Post, the outlet that broke the news, "In response to questions about the report, Rowe said in a statement that the report found numerous errors for which the agency must be held accountable, and that he has begun an agency-wide review to harden the protective bubble around the more than 40 government officials and family members the Secret Service protects. He warned that beefing up this security will cost money.""
"Mistakes were made." "We need more money."
Nice way to make lemonade out of lemons....

Retire with a nice pension, awards on the wall, and no accountability. That is the way it works in Washington DC.

“failures”??
Yeah, “failures” - not purposeful dereliction of duty ...

Retire with FULL benefits, when they should be frog marched to prison. Frog marched - possibly, but they might also feel the need to get out before having to lie under oath to cover up the truth that they've been forced to hire obese and incompetent Didn't Earn It (DEI) employees.

Sometimes there are consequences!
I could see the DOJ filling RICO charges against you and me if we continue to disparage these fine civil servants.

IMO, one of the first things a real President could do is to bar any retirements pending in any anticipation of an investigation.
These goons were part of the assassination attempt to kill former President Trump, IMO.

They deserve much more than a wrist slap and cushy retirement.

That doesn’t absolve them of responsibility in the matter. But it does prevent them from testifying to Congress about anything which shows that this was an inside job.

If you look at the secret service leadership top level behavior you can make a very strong case that they were intentionally dropping the ball to make it easy President Trump get assassinated.
This while the lawfare show trial prosecutors were trying give President Trump maximum exposure in very hard to secure hostile venues in hopes that an assassin with a bad case of TDS would take care of their Trump problem for them

That doesn’t absolve them of responsibility in the matter. But it does give them more legal options to refuse to testify in any subsequent investigations.
Not that those would happen in a Harris administration. But they certainly would happen in a Trump administration.

By ‘failed’, does that mean they did or didn’t provide protection as directed from a higher source. IOW, the desired result ‘failed’ to be acheived.
