I believe Jim Jordan said that 2 hour training video has NO SOUND, that the audio was disabled.

They wanted those agents as DUMBED DOWN as possible, so as to effectuate the hit on Trump.

The Homestead Security agents received about as much training as did the morons in Uvalde.

Based on the search results, it appears that some Uvalde law enforcement officers did undergo active shooter training prior to the Robb Elementary School massacre, but there were significant gaps in training for many officers. Key points:

  1. The Uvalde CISD Police Department hosted an active shooter training course in March 2022, just two months before the massacre. This 8-hour course instructed participants to use "immediate, decisive action" to neutralize suspects in active shooter situations.
  2. However, less than half of all local Uvalde peace officers had completed active shooter training at the time of the shooting. Specifically:
    • Only about 20% of Uvalde County Sheriff's Office deputies had ever received active shooter training.
    • Nearly half of Uvalde Police Department officers had never received active shooter training.
    • The acting Uvalde Police chief at the time had not completed active shooter training.
  3. The Uvalde County Sheriff, Ruben Nolasco, had not undergone active shooter training in the nearly two years he had held the position.
  4. While Texas mandated active shooter training for school police officers after a 2018 school shooting, this requirement did not apply to thousands of other state and local law enforcement officers who did not work in schools.
  5. The Uvalde school police had trained repeatedly for mass shootings, including a drill in March 2022 at Uvalde High School.
  6. After the massacre, a Department of Justice report identified issues with the training UCISD police underwent before the incident, noting it was "contrary to national standards".

In summary, while some Uvalde officers, particularly school police, had received recent active shooter training, there were significant gaps in training for many local law enforcement officers who responded to the Robb Elementary shooting. This lack of consistent training across agencies has been identified as a factor contributing to the flawed response.
