A sample size of only 10 in a focus group isn’t nearly big enough for me. For example in today’s PBS Newshour (9/11/2024), the reporter said that a focus group of 9 voters created by a never Trumper said the debate changed all 9 from being “undecided” to voting for Harris. I don’t trust this focus group since it was organized by a never Trumper but Trafalgar Group’s poll of over 1000 gives me more confidence that this debate really didn’t change the race in the 7 swing states. In my opinion Trump was a bit too overconfident coming into the debate and should have studied Harris previous debates even more.
