Dick Cheney went from despised war criminal to the Left’s new bestie on Friday when the former Vice President announced he was voting for Kamala Harris. Cheney justified his decision by claiming “[i]n our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump.” Cheney’s rhetoric ignores reality — both what Trump actually did when he was president and what the Harris-Walz ticket proposes to do. And it is the Democrat ticket’s policies that represent the actual threat to our constitutional republic. Here are three clear examples.
Free Speech
Freedom of speech is so fundamental to our constitutional republic that the founding generation prohibited government infringement on that right in the First Amendment. However, since Donald Trump’s surprise victory in 2016 launched the censorship-industrial complex, the government has been moving aggressively to silence speech. And the consequences of government censorship can be devastating, as Americans learned in the context of Covid, when our government hid or minimized the dangers of vaccines, and deprived citizens of a fulsome debate over mandatory masking and school closures.

Conversely, “Harris’ track record shows she’s the enemy of our most fundamental liberty: free speech.” As Betsy McCaughey, the former lieutenant governor of New York, detailed in a recent article for the New York Post, “Harris chose as her deputy campaign manager Rob Flaherty, formerly the White House director of digital strategy — the person who called the shots about what got censored under President Biden.”

Cheney’s statement about Trump is absolutely insane.
Harris gave an ugly old man oral sex to advance her career.
That shows a complete lack of self respect.
If she has no respect for herself, she’ll have no respect for anyone else like American citizens.
He is just an old insignificant politician, who’s daughter was trounced by the truth, from Donald Trump. He can’t take it and he is to old to care.
Harris’s purpose is not to be a threat herself, but to serve as the mindless frontman for those who are ... just as the mentally handicapped F-Joe Biden has been used by the America-/American-hating Democrat/Communist Party over the past four years.
Our Constitutional Republic is dead and buried.
There will be an authoritarian government. The only question is, what will be its objectives and who do you want running it?

For him to make a statement about Trump like that is totally irresponsible. If Cheney stands by that, it makes him not fit for national dog catcher or stable cleaner.

NO - Federal Govt that is 36% of the entire size of the economy IS the threat to our Constitutional Republic.
Whoever the uniparty appoints as President will be a figure-head and cut-out anyway.

They’ll say, “misinformation is not protected free speech.” Or, “you are free to say what you like but you are not free from the consequences of your speech (jail.)”

Cheney viscerely hates Trump for what he and his ilk did to his daughter. He is willing to forsake his country to get any revenge against him he can because of it.
A far worse man than I would have ever imagined when I voted for him.
And all Trump has to say is: what do those things have to do with how you have run America into the dirt these last 3+ years?
Ignore her personal attacks. Pivot to policy.

Pivot to attacks by immigrants on women
The old man is trying to curry favor with the propaganda media and historians so called historians and cover for his corrupt war mongering ways
