Palestinians’ UN proposal demands Israel leave Gaza and the West Bank in 6 months
Associated Press ^ | September 10, 2024 | Edith M. Lederer

The Palestinians have circulated a draft U.N. resolution demanding that Israel end its “unlawful presence” in Gaza and the West Bank within six months.

The proposed General Assembly resolution, which was obtained by The Associated Press, follows a ruling by the top United Nations court in July that said Israel’s presence in the Palestinian territories is unlawful and must end. […]

Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon denounced the resolution and described it as a “reward for terrorism.” He called for the resolution to be rejected. “Let it be clear: Nothing will stop Israel or deter it from its mission to bring home the hostages and eliminate Hamas,” he said.

U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres told The Associated Press on Monday that International Court of Justice rulings “should be accepted and should be implemented.” As for the General Assembly resolution, he said, it’s up to the 193 U.N. member nations to make a decision. […]

The proposal, if adopted by the 193-member General Assembly, would not be legally binding but the extent of its support would reflect world opinion. There are no vetoes in the assembly, unlike in the 15-member Security Council. …

The UN must be destroyed. It’s not enough for the USA to leave it.

I agree. The un (small letters purposefully) is worthless.

Just to clarify. My “No” was not to your comment but to the absurd proposal from the maniacs.

How do you account for the fact that the United Nations Charter follows the format of the Russian (USSR) Constitution of 1936 rather than the format of the (Covenant of the) League of Nations? Would you feel there was any significance in the fact that the general secretary for the organization which drew up the charter was Alger Hiss? …

The Naked Communist, Chapter 8
Hiss set up the UN to be run by such people. The head of the UN, the “secretary general”, shares the title of the office with that of the head of the communist party in second-world (communist bloc) states.
What is the secular basis of Judaism? Practical need; self-interest. What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly god? Money. Very well, then! Emancipation from huckstering and money—consequently from practical, real Judaism—would be the self-emancipation of our time. […]

… Money is the jealous god of Israel, in face of which no other god may exist. Money degrades all the gods of man and turns them into commodities. Money is the universal self-established value of all things. It has, therefore, robbed the whole world—both the world of men and nature—of its specific value. Money is the estranged essence of man’s work and man’s existence, and this alien essence dominates him, and he worships it.

The god of the Jews has become secularized and has become the god of the world. The bill of exchange is the real god of the Jew. His god is only an illusory bill of exchange. …

How did this war start again?

Israelis fight back just because 1,200 people were killed and women AND men were raped by those sick ####s.

Boy are they sensitive.

Destroy hamas and take as much land as they need for a buffer.

I dont really care how they achieve their goals anymore.

Enough is enough.

Just respond with “Nuts”. I’ve heard that worked before.

For the “un”, mere worthlessness would be an improvement. The “un” is actively harmful.

Send ALL of the Palies to Jordan (aka east Palestine, aka Trans-Jordan), the one and only true Palestinian homeland. It was the original two-state solution created by the Brits in 1921 after the Brits created Manadatory Palestine in 1920 as a homeland for the Jews.

80% of the Palies in Israel have family in Jordan.

No “Palestinian” has ever claimed Jordan to be their homeland. They’ve only done that to Israel.

Why was Trans-Jordan (east Palestine) created in 1921? It was the two-state solution to the problem of the Jews getting a homeland called Mandatory Palestine courtesy of the British in 1920.

They Arabs were extremely angry when this occurred. The cried, moaned, bitched, and complained to the Brits about it so a two-state solution was created for them to make them happy.

Go read the history of this time period.

It was never called East Palestine FWIR (unlike a certain town in Ohio). The inhabitants of Jordan may call themselves Arab, but they are still the original inhabitants (Ammonites and Moabites, descendants of Lot and not Ishmael) whether they realize that or not. The whole area was known as Southern Syria under the Ottoman Empire and the misnomers “Palestine” and “Transjordan” came to be under the mandate; everyone who lived in “Palestine”, even Jews, were called “Palestinian” under that rule.

It wasn’t the Brits who lied to the Arabs, but the caliphatist imams of the Muslim Arabs rather, who sought the end of Ottoman dominance of the ummah. The Balfour Declaration dates to 1917, so it was no secret even before that about the intent to create a state for Jews in the land of Israel.

If you go ogle maps of Mandatory Palestine it included what we know today as Jordan. It happens to sit east of the Jordan River.

When the Brits divided M.P. in 1921 it done along the Jordan River, thus creating western and eastern sides of Palestine. The eastern was called Trans-Jordan. The western eventually became Israel again.

I cannot find any maps that conclusively show that. And I am allergic to Alphabet’s thoroughly adulterated search engine, with all due respect.

The mandate came to be in 1920, and anything before that was tentative FWICS. From 1920 onwards, there was no definite “Palestine”. Not to mention, the maps faked by the “Palestinians” show only the land of Israel defined as “Palestine” with none of Jordan included..

You have to go ogle the words "British Mandate Palestine."

Here's the map.

And who made that map?

We’re up against a lot of historical revisionism.

This is history. Go ogle “British Mandatory Palestine.”

Do you even know that the area came under the control of the British? Did you know the Ottoman Turks ruled it before the Brits had it?
