Harris Campaign Is Paying Trump Judge's Daughter. Yeah, That's Happening.
PJ Media ^ | 6 Sep 2024 | Victoria Taft

Rule 1: There's no shame in Democrat Land. Remember this. Nowhere is that more clear than in the courtroom of New York Judge Juan Merchan. The judge has a closet full of conflicts of interest in this case. And today, things are looking much worse for him.

not Donald Trump. But — refer to Rule 1. Second, Merchan only put off sentencing for this one-off, bogus, bespoke case after two body blows hit him in the past 24 hours.

First, podcaster Steven Crowder revealed an undercover interview with the Public Affairs guy at the DOJ's Southern District of New York office showing that we're not the only ones who think this case is a total pile of dog poop.

My colleague Robert Spencer has details on the case here in which the top SUNY spokesman, Nicholas Biase, said the bogus case against Trump is "a perversion of justice," "It’s a travesty of justice," "a mockery of justice," "nonsense," and, stop me if you've heard this one before, a case in which DA Alvin Bragg stacked, "charges and rearrang[ed] things just to make it fit a case.” You don't say? You should see the video over in Robert's story. Gold.

But that's not the biggest body blow against the judge's one-of-a-kind case. No, that honor goes to Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) who has entered another ethics complaint against Merchan with conclusive proof that Merchan's daughter, who has made bank on her dad's case for her Democrat political consultancy, was paid directly by Trump's opponent, Kamala Harris.

This judge should be removed from the bench and then disbarred.

A retrial under a different judge seems to be indicated in my opinion. I’m not a lawyer.

New York law:

“PART 100. Judicial Conduct”

“(5) A judge shall not accept, and shall urge members of the judge’s family residing in the judge’s household not to accept, a gift, bequest, favor or loan from anyone except:

(a) a gift incident to a public testimonial, books, tapes and other resource materials supplied by publishers on a complimentary basis for official use, or an invitation to the judge and the judge’s spouse or guest to attend a bar-related function or an activity devoted to the improvement of the law, the legal system or the administration of justice;

(b) a gift, award or benefit incident to the business, profession or other separate activity of a spouse or other family member of a judge residing in the judge’s household, including gifts, awards and benefits for the use of both the spouse or other family member and the judge (as spouse or family member), provided the gift, award or benefit could not reasonably be perceived as intended to influence the judge in the performance of judicial duties;

(c) ordinary social hospitality;

(d) a gift from a relative or friend, for a special occasion such as a wedding, anniversary or birthday, if the gift is fairly commensurate with the occasion and the relationship;

(e) a gift, bequest, favor or loan from a relative or close personal friend whose appearance or interest in a case would in any event require disqualification under section 100.3(E);

(f) a loan from a lending institution in its regular course of business on the same terms generally available to persons who are not judges;

(g) a scholarship or fellowship awarded on the same terms and based on the same criteria applied to other applicants; or

(h) any other gift, bequest, favor or loan, only if: the donor is not a party or other person who has come or is likely to come or whose interests have come or are likely to come before the judge.”

I’m not a lawyer, so there’s some things I might miss.

The law has gotten very complex. When procuring legal services, seek out specific expertise.

Merchan Delays Trump Sentencing Until After November Election

September 6, 2024 | Sundance |

There’s a lot of positive commentary about this judicial decision; however, my hopium account balance is overdrawn.   Let me present a factual angle of how the Deep State may use this. FYI if you have watched the corruption unfolding for the past few years, you will understand this is not doomerism; it’s pragmatic caution.

There is an argument to be made that Merchan, who has already shown stunningly political bias against President Trump, will operate only on the political LAWFARE interests of those who support him, regardless of consequence.

Judge Merchan is a rogue lawfare element, do not try to convince me he is bound by any legal or judicial limitations.

If you accept the possibility of political LAWFARE, then consider Judge Merchan may be positioned as an insurance policy against President Donald Trump taking office.  The scenario would be President Trump winning the election (too big to rig) and then finding himself being sentenced to prison after his victory.

Not only would this scenario play into the hands of those who promise to defeat Trump even in victory, it would also create constitutional crisis, upend the political system and likely trigger something akin to a civil war – exactly what the IC/Deep State would relish.

Also, under this scenario those Sea Island folks advising RFK Jr and Ron DeSantis might have something other than altruism behind their current endorsement status, just sayin’.  Don’t ever underestimate the scheming, conniving efforts of these crews.

NEW YORK — Donald Trump’s sentencing for his criminal conviction in Manhattan will be delayed until after Election Day, a judge ruled Friday, handing the former president a significant victory that will leave voters in the dark about his possible punishment, including a potential prison sentence, as they head to the polls.

The sentencing, previously scheduled for Sept. 18, is now set for Nov. 26.

Justice Juan Merchan, the judge who oversaw the trial and is responsible for sentencing Trump, said he wants to avoid any impression that the sentencing could give an advantage or disadvantage to “any political party and/or any candidate for any office.”

“The Court is a fair, impartial and apolitical institution,” Merchan wrote in a letter to lawyers in the case. (read more)

Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust - not a business
Donald J. Trump - not a business

“Invoice from Michael Cohen”

Getting billed by one’s lawyer is a crime?

You pay the lawyer’s bill and you become a criminal.

What a country!

Notice the monthly pattern. Cohen sent 11 invoices. Cohen got 12 checks.

Notice the earliest date, Feb. 14, 2017, which was after the election.

The DA needs to be nifonged, and the judge too. There is no case - it was all smoke and mirrors fed to the brain-dead morons on the NYC jury. Dismiss the case.

Judge Juan Merchan literally donated to Joe Biden in 2020. Despite the donation being a direct violation of the NY rules of judicial conduct, the New York Commission on Judicial Conduct dismissed the complaint against Judge Merchan.

Laws are for the little people…and Republicans.

I’ll probably get in trouble for saying this out loud, but I find it somewhat bizarre that the fate of the past/potential future President of the United States rests in the hands of foreign born judges., Juan Merchan, Columbia and Tanya Chutkan, Jamaica..

I guess because they came here in their early years we are to assume their loyalties are with the United States.

The media who expect us to assume we’d believe those foreign judges are loyal to the United States but they’d be wrong… dead wrong.

” likely trigger something akin to a civil war – exactly what the IC/Deep State would relish.”

You infer that the deep state is tactically competent to engage in nation-wide military operations, with absolutely no proof.
