Barron Trump arrives at NYU for first day at college

Former President Donald Trump’s youngest child, Barron Trump, was spotted arriving at New York University Wednesday to kick off his first day of college life.

The towering 18-year-old was flanked by Secret Service agents as he stepped onto the downtown Manhattan campus with a black Swiss Gear backpack casually slung over his shoulder.

Dressed in a white polo, black pants and Adidas Gazelle sneakers, Barron’s first stop was the dean’s office before being whisked off to classes, sources told The Post.

It wasn’t immediately clear what classes the teen plans to take while at NYU, where tuition starts from roughly $62,700-a-year.

It also wasn’t known whether heightened security measures will be in place for students given the presence of Barron’s Secret Service detail.

Amazing. NYU was regarded as leftist many decades ago. Trump may be stuck in a past era when going to the prestigious colleges was a gateway to financial success. Also the age gap between Donald and Barron is more akin to that between a grandfather and grandson. Trump went to two universities, University of Pennsylvania and Fordham, in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Neither university was particularly left wing at that time although both likely had liberal faculty. The academic world has changed in the last 55 years, so that even universities considered conservative at one time, e.g., Texas A&M, are no longer so.

NYU is an absolute toilet of a university. I say again, it is a toxic waste dump. Why, oh why go there? Even Chelsea Clinton avoided that place.

Trump can do much, much better than NYU.

Barron is expected to live off-campus and commute daily ‘from his father’s Trump Tower building’ on Fifth Avenue in Midtown.....So Melania is there . Last I knew Barron has a whole floor to himself in the Trump towers.

NYU is a great school. Like other great schools (e.g., MIT, Harvard) it has had its share of Palestinian “demonstrations” of late. Hopefully, all these schools can get back to the business of education and research, and they can avoid being “snowflakes” if and when Trump is reelected!

NYU, in my opinion the Trumps made a very poor choice with such a cesspool of a university. Hope he has sufficient protection while attending.
