Vice President Kamala Harris’s latest ad touts her price control policy proposal, which has been widely criticized, considering price controls historically result in shortages of goods.
The advertisement, titled “Focused,” hypes Harris’s plan of “cracking down” on grocery “price gouging.”
“She’ll make groceries more affordable by cracking down on price gouging. And she’ll cut housing costs by taking on corporate speculators,” the ad vaguely promises.

The demagogic answer to out-of-control deficit spending is price controls. Blame the corporations for price increases - accuse them of “gouging.” If bullying them into losing money doesn’t work, pull out price controls.

There are more than enough guns and badges in the U.S. to curb the appetites of those who like to eat two pieces of bacon.
The dollar will collapse and the Bric will become the Worlds Reserve Currency,,,,,thanks to the Dems.
Socialism fails because when you put some people (the party) in charge of other peoples stuff, they just cant help taking a little more for themselves.

My Polish girlfriend has great stories of the wonderful life of food rations under communism. Her grandmother was in charge of the ration bureau so she would steal stuff all the time for the family and to sell underground. It was a family occasion when she could smuggle a banana or peanuts imagine 8 people sharing a single banana. She knew we were screwed when she saw the Obama worshipping. But pre scary here is the Poles faked their love of dear leader. Here it was genuine.

Socialism is very seductive to those who feel others have more then them and that the world cheated them.
It’s an economic model, pseudo religion, ends up being a political system which is destined to fail because it ignores the most basic principals of economics and human nature. It centralizes power which is dangerous for democracy and freedom.
I’m a bad person, so I’ll talk about myself:
—If you give something to me for free I don’t value it. The fancy car I got as a 16 year old from my parents.
—If I don’t own it, I’ll neglect and abuse it. The rental property I live in, the liter in the park, or a rental car I race through town and take off roading..
—If I don’t need to work to get what I need, I’ll sit on my ass. When I get welfare, food stamps, free housing, free health care...
—If it’s free or monopoly money that isn’t really mine, I won’t care how much I use. Government defense contracts where I throw money around.
—If I earn the same as others regardless of what I produce, I’ll take it easy, get sick on Mondays and Fridays, and take care of personal stuff while on the clock. The typical government employee like me.
But that’s just me, because like I said, I’m a bad person. I’m sure most other people will work hard for free, take the best care of their rental car, leave their hotel clean and organized when they leave, I’m sure others will come in early and leave late even without a financial incentive...

I keep and total Bovine and swine butchered and frozen. Grow vegetables. Got a storage shed full of paper products. All I need us flour, sugar, etc and can bake.
And when the shortages start I have guns and ammo to protect it all from the liberal mob zombie whores!

The idea of price controls is a nation killer. It is the Marxist’s false hope of Utopia that has political control taking precedence over free economic growth, secret police, mindless bureaucracy, all combining to stifle individual excellence and personal freedom.
