Judge issues temporary injunction on Trump campaign use of the song ‘Hold On, I’m Coming’
The decision came after the estate of the late R&B artist and songwriter Isaac Hayes sought an emergency injunction to stop the Trump campaign from using the song at campaign events, alleging the campaign does not have approval.

“The Best is Yet to Come”
Use it anyway. They have the contract. And it’s well within fair use. Time to start ignoring federal judges just like the communists do.
“I do order Trump and his campaign to not use the song without proper license,” he said.”
And they have a license. Hayes sold the rights b to the public performance licensing company and Trump paid.
Although, this is the message he and Kennedy are actually promoting!

I did notice he hasn’t been using it lately - he went back to YMCA.
How about the same song but by the very recently deceased James Darren?

I doubt very much that it meets the “fair use” exception. Why do you believe otherwise?
How about “Hold On” by Yes?

I watched a Mark Dice video recently after Foo Fighters had a hissy fit that Trump was using one of their sons. The way Mark explained it is that once a group records a song, that song now belongs to the studio that produced it, and the group no longer has any control over it. If a person pays for a license to use that particular song, it's beyond the reach of the courts or the musicians. I highly doubt the Trump campaign didn't have a license to use this song, and this Clinton-appointed Judge Thomas Thrash Jr. is being a typical RAT asshole.
My understanding is the campaign paid Sony BMI for the use. If the check cleared, they have the approval. When artists sign a publishing agreement, they no longer retain the ability to dictate who can and who can’t use their songs.
They should tell the judge to respectfully go pound sand.
This will be another Trump Victory.
Spending a dead man’s hard earned monies on lawyer fees for someone who has TDS.
So. If they have a proper license, they’re actually doing as the court ordered when they play it.
Is the judge ruling they do not have the proper license?
Because they do not lay the entire song. Just a clip. Anyway, it doesn’t matter, the campaign possesses the contract with BMI and Hayes sold the performance rights away long ago.
Emergency lol. What a bunch of tools
Undisclosed luxury travel
In May 2024, NPR revealed that Clinton stooge Thrash had received free travel in December 2021 to the Breakers Colloquium, a privately funded legal seminar hosted at The Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Florida, but had failed to disclose this on his required annual financial disclosure report for that year, in violation of federal law.
In response, a representative of the corrupt Democrat stooge Thrash told NPR, “No comment.”
And it's also quite possible that even though Trump has paid for a license and BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, or some intermediary licensing agency, has NOT reported it to the song's copyright owners thus making them believe they have been "stiffed" money-wise by those using the song.
This is how massive amounts of MONEY are STOLEN every year in the very CORRUPT music biz. a PAID LICENSE is NOT reported and the MONEY disappears. I know this for a fact.
That depends on the deal the artist/s signed. Very often an ignorant or desperate artist's own agent owns the rights.
There are rights related to the specific recording. Some artists, notably Metallica and Taylor Swift, go back into a studio, re-record their songs, and retain the rights to the new recordings. (Publishing rights are separate).
