Lol ok, I’ll bite. What is Burma Shave?

It was a company that sold shaving cream. Their main advertising method was to put up a series of signs at readable intervals along pasture land. This was before interstates dominated our major highways. The signs were always the same size, and color. So, you would read each section of the sign as you came to it. The next would follow the previous at a good pace. The last in each series would be “Burma-Shave.” It would be cute little verse touting the product, or life-advice, or driving advice. Very iconic in rural America.
