Thank you, stylin!
When I started to really commit myself to following that diet, it was mid August.
I also coupled it with Intermittent Fasting.
That involved fasting for 16 hours, and eating in
the 8 hour “open window” of eating.

You can time this around YOUR schedule, and make it work for you.
I have worked 2nd shift all of my adult life, and have never been a breakfast person even when I was a kid.
It gave my mother FITS!
Mom: “You are So WEIRD! You’re just like your father!”

Anyway, this is how I time mine
Fasting Time was 8.p.m. until noon the following day.
Eating window was 12 Noon to 8. p.m.
It was very hard at first!
I would be telling a lie if I said it wasn’t!

READ ALL YOU CAN ABOUT KETO!!
I want to strongly caution diabetics NOT to do this without clearing it with your Doctor!

Snacking was hard to give up!
Potato Chips and ice cream, etc.
So??
I learned how to make ice cream the Keto way.

Learn to love Pork Rind snacks!
Satisfies the craving for something crunchy.
If you don’t care for then, that’s okay!
Pulverize into coating for fried chicken, etc.

Read the labels in prepackaged foods!
One label had 44 carbs PER SERVING!
When you have some time-go this website for The Keto Twins.
They are a riot and shares their bad results with food, as well as the yummy ones!

P.S.Walk!! Walk! Walk!!!
Good luck!

hey thanks. keto and atkins kinda the same but different.

I worked 2d shift...i liked it but it was a booger. I loved 3rd shift.

I could handle the 16-8 process. I usually only eat supper.
However, I do munch. I love pork rinds but the sodium is a killer for me.

I got a couple of strikes here.
Diabetic and a blown out lt. knee so walking is pretty much limited....

I’ll keep this post a bookmarked favorite.

Thanks again
