Good for you. Years ago I did a version of Keto and lost 45 lbs. My DIL did Keto and lost a lot.
Don’t EVER put pasta in your mouth again if you want to keep the weight off. I and my DIL have put the weight all back on.
I know, pasta will make me (and lots of other folks)
gain weight like crazy!
Bread and pasta-oy!
The hardest part for me, was giving up some snack foods.
I really miss potato chips (le sigh)
AND cheese Danish (*HUGE SIGH)
When I go to market, I shop the outer perimeter of the
store, unless the is something on sale that I want.
There is a KETO bread made by “Nature’s Own” that is
just wonderful! It tastes like fresh Italian bread, and is
a little bit chewy-yummy!
It’s bit pricey, but the money
I save on not eating junk food makes up for it.
We chose to learn how to cook with a keto lifestyle, and
I think it’s great that we are not eating all the additives
that often go into prepackaged foods.
I also try to keep in mind, that cancer LOVES sugar.
I use “Stevia”, almond and or/coconut Flour and so on
for cakes and cookies, and whipping cream, cottage cheese
etc, and we make our own ice cream.
It’s fun to learn with hubby, and he’s a REALLY good cook!
