So Judy when I get it read (I am a slow reader) I will let you know what she says.
It is my understanding that the bible says "Do not judge least you be judged" "Whosoever is without sin cast the first stone" "Jesus tells Peter to forgive someone "seventy-seven times" (or "seventy times seven", which is 490 times). Jesus is calling people to forgive others without regard to the details or reasons."
I DO NOT like the fact that there are those who are pushing abortion (I don't think Melania is doing that) and I do think it is wrong, but I will leave it up to God to make the judgement. As far as her dropping the book just before the election, I fairly recently heard her say something to the effect the book had been in progress for a long time but she was having a hard time getting it published.
Let me know what you think of the book. I will understand if it takes awhile, as I’m a slow reader as well.
I don’t think “Do not judge, least you be judged”, “Whosoever is without sin cast the first stone”, or “Forgiving seventy-seven times” apply in the least to the situation. I am not making any judgments, I’m following God’s teaching. I don’t think God is wrong about the value of human life, and being in agreement with that is not casting a stone.
There have been a few Republicans over the years that have pushed to have the position on abortion changed in the Republican platform. Thankfully, nobody listened to them, and the party remains pro-life. As it is now a state issue, there should be no further rulings on it federally.
I now think the same of Melania that I do of anyone else who thinks they have the right to end a human life, born or unborn.
