Strawberries, mangoes, bananas, etc. all contain carbohydrates of some sort. Therefore, they are off strict keto diets. Now, there are those which claim they have complex carbohydrates, aka “good carbs”. It is easier for me to avoid all than just some.
Quick answer: No.
PS Skip the almond “milk”. Use heavy cream instead.
Calling all sorts of white liquid from plants “milk” is not really correct. Milk comes from mammary glands which are on mammals which are animals.
Hiya Sweet Pea!
Bananas are Verboten on Keto
so are these:
Apples
Grapes
Bananas
Dates
Mangoes
Pineapples
Raisins
Pears
Cherries
Pomegranates
Plantains
Prunes
Plums
Good fruits for keto are;
strawberries (my favorite!)
Star fruit
Cantaloupe
Peaches
Raspberries
Tomatoes
Blackberries
Lemons
Watermelon
There are very many more, but it’s more than just avoiding them. You should measure the carbs against the dietary fiber
in what you are consuming.
I know it sounds like a real hassle, but it’s not.
I have a little cup of instant ramen noodles:
The Carbohydrate is 37 grams!
(You are allowed 25 grams of carbs a day on the Keto diet!)
The ramen noodles only have 1 gram dietary fiber, so
37 minus the 1 gram is 36 grams of carbos!
You eat that, and you’ve blown past your limit for today, and part of tomorrow.
Watch out for High Fructose Corn Syrup, too.
WE have been lied to about food for so long, it’s AWFUL!
That stupid food pyramid that they used to recommend should be thrown away!
Fat does not make you fat!
SUGAR makes you fat-SUGAR makes you fat!
AND-CANCER LOVES sugar, so remember that, too!
