Several days ago, I suffered a spider bite on my arm. It has since ulcerated and the wound is almost a quarter size. I’ve had things like this before. But modern antibiotic ointments haven’t really helped. Tonight I began treating with an old-fashioned jungle-missionary remedy. I packed the wound with coarse sugar and, of course, covered it with a bandage. Tomorrow will tell the tale. I’ll let you know.
