There is something being missed in public discussion about what the Russians are thinking. Some of the events of the last months seem to be confusing, if not inexplicable. Let’s go back to destruction of those two radar stations, which you and I discussed when that happened. These are warning stations in the south of Russia which were early warning stations. And nobody could make much sense of it. Why in the Devil were the Ukrainians using drones to knock out these stations when they had no relevance to the war in Ukraine?
Well, that was what we thought then. As of this week, we think we we should rethink it all. It has a lot of relevance to the presence of two aircraft carrier task forces now in the eastern Mediterranean, which the New York Times and London Times and everybody else will tell you they are there to keep Iran under control and to use against Iran if they go out of control when there is the still not launched revenge attack on Israel.
Why would we believe that the pentagon says what it means? Wouldn’t it be reasonable to look at the configuration of those aircraft carriers that can be used to send, what 100 jets, nuclear armed, on a decapitating strike against Russia?
This is not my observation I’m repeating to you now, it’s what I heard on Russian television by a very authoritative person.

Both Russia and the US do that all the time. You fly in, get the other guy to turn on the radar, capture the signature and other characteristics of the radar and then turn around and head for home. You have additional information about the radar for when a shooting war starts.
While attacking Nuclear Early Warning Radars at the same time?!?! Are you insane? Neither side has ever done anything remotely close to something this incredible reckless.
Since this is the very first time the US has sent carrier groups to the eastern Mediterranean (and Persian Gulf), I can quite understand this reading of events......
As someone who spent years working nuclear early warning radar, that’s a lie. It Has happened and is happening repeatedly, since I started in the mid 70s.

I’m not sure this is true, but I was told that we currently have no carriers in the Pacific (because the Pacific isn’t important, I guess) but we have 2 carriers in the eastern Mediterranean. Weird.
That might be because Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas are a hair trigger from escalating the Hamas War into a full scale regional war. We haven’t been putting carriers in the Middle East much, before Hamas attacked.

Tell me the last time NATO attacked two Russian Nuclear Early Warning Radars in the now predicable path of a decapitating nuclear first strike. Tell the people reading how the Russians DON’T have the satellite capabilities we do. Tell the people how we’ve just seen a possible mock first strike which, in reality, totally BLINDS the Russians to this specific attack.
When’s the last time this happened while we were eyeball to eyeball along a 2000km front? A front now bristling with theater nuke systems. For the first time EVER, we just saw joint operational maneuvers of Russian and Belarusian theater nukes. The GD entire class of weapons were illegal until that idiot of century, GWB, broke the treaty.
When’s the last time American munitions, fired from American platforms, maintained by Americans, targeted by Americans and fired by Americans killed, fill in the blank, thousands of Russians (60,000- 500,000) in the previous 30 months?
When’s the time, while ALL of this was going on, Russis had been the victim of the most horrific,totally encompassing lying Western destruction of the Russian nation, its people, its religion, its rights, IT’S VERY RIGHT TO EXIST??
