n oil tanker loaded with roughly a million barrels of crude was on fire and in danger of leaking after it was attacked by Houthi rebels while crossing through the Red Sea.
The 900-foot Sounion was hit over the weekend, part of a campaign by the Yemen-based group to target vessels passing through the Suez Canal. The crew was evacuated from the ship, which is now anchored in a busy maritime channel.
The Suezmax tanker—the largest size that can transit the canal when laden—had taken on cargo in Iraq, and its final destination was Europe, brokers said. It is one of dozens of commercial ships that risk traversing the Suez route each day despite ongoing threats from the Houthis.

These are the bastards who have to “migrate” to the U.S. because they polluted their own “enviomen”.
I’ve had to cancel my beach vacation over there with the houthis and the blowfixh travel agencey.
Why haven’t the Marines went in and shut the sumbitches down permanently? Anyone know?
Why haven’t the Marines went in and shut the sumbitches down permanently? Anyone know?
Because Biden and Harris are giving them aid and comfort, the perfect definition of treason.
Crickets from the envirowack jobs
I’m guessing this ship didn’t have Cosmo Kramer’s rubber oil bladder.
Their commander is on the beach?
Agreed.
Third world savages vs US military with a committed and patriotic CinC willing to stand up to both the savages and all of their first world enablers is what is needed. Alas, even if we get that leader, dealing with all of the enablers (traitors) is by far the harder mission. How many rocks would we have to lift to get all of the snakes who always seem to slither away only to resurface down the road to continue their treasonous work? I wonder what the over/under is for how many lawsuits the Dems have ready to go in venues with their friendly judges on day 1 of President Trump’s next term? 150? I think even with a clean sweep in November (best case scenario) that is only when the real work starts.
I pray president Trump really has learned not to trust the establishment and looks to outside the bureaucracy and if senate won’t confirm (as McConnell blocked efforts for the people not in the club) well, I’m not sure how to work around this without resorting to czars which I detest as there will be no chance for recess appointments unless Rand or a few others who still have a soul or aren’t compromised become leader.
Yeah. It’s an election year and Joe isn’t going to piss off his Arab friends.
Jefferson didn’t go to war to protect Greek shipping. Sounds like a job for the Greeks.
"I'll give you my favorite Trump, my favorite President Trump story. This is my number-one favorite of all time.
When we were negotiating with the Taliban, when President Trump was still the president, President Trump wanted to get out of Afghanistan, but he wanted a conditions-based withdrawal, meaning that you do what we tell you to do, and then we will start pulling troops back slowly as long as you abide by our rules.
It's President Trump and Mike Pompeo, and they are talking to Taliban leadership in the room. And they had one translator in the room. President Trump looked at the Taliban leader and said this:
“I want to leave Afghanistan, but it's going to be a conditions-based withdrawal.”
And the translator translated. And he said,
“If you harm a hair on a single American, I'm gonna kill you.”
And the translator goes [Rep. Hunt mimes a surprised face], and Trump goes, “Tell him. Tell him what I said,” reached in his pocket, pulled out a satellite photo of the leader of the Taliban's home, and handed it to him, and walked out the room.
Do you know [that] for 18 months, not a single American was killed in Afghanistan? That's the definition of strength."
That’s a great story, but is there a link? It’s not like Google will let us find it.
This oil spill is not a big deal for the US.
The Navy ran away from the Houthis, shaking in fear. This bugout was no doubt approved by the administration, along with the defeatist message from the Navy. A tanker being damaged or destroyed and causing environmental havoc was entirely foreseeable. So it is fair to say, the administration places no value on the environment of this Red Sea area.
As with the Afghanistan bugout, when things get tough, the neocons in DC move on to the next fun project. At least no GIs died this time.
Well, I’ll bet some of our Navy (Seals?) are out in the water protecting our hard-working President.
Remember when we used to be concerned about lives under attack and not how much oil leaked from the ship?
Those Houthi rebels better watch out. Oil leaks out of tanker and that BatS... crazy girl from Sweden will come and give them a good screaming at. In her sailboat of course.
