I respectfully disagree. If people perceive that the current electoral system is being stolen——and that their own votes are either worthless, of questionable value, or NOT EVEN BEING COUNTED because they were deliberately eliminated by machines designed and manipulated by felons——they will be enraged.
And yes, enough of them will vote insist on ripping up the current system. Someone in our own number here happily beat me to it, mentioning the electric chair, I think.
I was merely going to say that inasmuch as American men over the past 250 years have consistently given their very lives to ensure our right to self-rule--which is to say, our right to control our government by casting a legitimate ballot--it is not hyperbole to say that the penalty for election fraud must be capital.

Kemp and Ratburger continue to insist there was no fraud in the 2020 election although the evidence has been shown that proves otherwise. The media then uses quotes from them to gaslight the voters into believing the accusations of fraud have been “debunked”. Both of them were knee deep in the election fraud; I suspect due to the threat on their and their family’s lives.
One thing a trial in Georgia would show would be that Trump’s allegations of fraud are true. Of course, a judge would probably rule such evidence inadmissible and the truth is that the RICO charges are so ridiculous the case should have been dismissed months ago.

Far too many people blame the Democrats for election cheating, when the reality is the Republicans are also cheaters.

We had in-person-voting-only for years and years in this country and it worked just fine. Around 62 percent of the voting-age population normally votes in our major elections, that’s roughly 4.3 million per state, so that is not unmanageable by any means, especially with computer assistance which we didn’t even have back then, so what is the objection/impediment to returning to that system, except to provide an avenue for cheating?

I’m good with ALL in-person voting. I suppose early voting, say a week early, might be OK, but I’m dead set against any electronic voting, I have a degree in Computer Science, and I know damn well that electronic cheating would be relatively easy.

It sounds like we need a black list of fraudulent voter names in the registration process, like the “no fly” list.
Liz - they are so close to 'getting' what's happening. The final puzzle piece is the people who 'vote' the non-existent folks. It's one thing for a dead person to be on the roles - it's another thing all together for that dead person to 'vote'.
And in a saner world some intelligent reporter or paper would pick up this story and run with it - all the way to the top journalism prize of all time: the respect, awe and gratitude of their fellow citizens.
