First in the Middle East, this is a moment for all to celebrate. Congratulations to Israel and to humanity. Second, this picture powerfully illustrates the reality: the so-called "apartheid" Jewish state, where a Jewish doctor is treating a Muslim Arab who was held hostage by Hamas-ISIS Islamist terrorists in Gaza. Israel, this "apartheid" state, dispatched 18 Jewish soldiers to rescue the Muslim Arab Bedouin and reunite him with his seven children. If you live in New York, Paris, or London, you might be confused because your media won’t show you this reality of the Middle East. Brigitte Gabriel is a remarkable woman, a good looking, well dressed Lebanese Christian who wrote an excellent book: “Because They Hate: A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America” .
She gave a talk at a Portuguese Club in my home town, and even there, she had a great big armed body guard who stood an arms length away from her the entire time.
There is no doubt they would love someone to murder her. No doubt. She is stylish, good looking, extremely outspoken, and knows them intimately. Which they hate.
Her book “Because They Hate: A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America” is impactful, and a great read if you haven’t read it. It is remarkable that, as a Maronite Christian, she was fully immersed in the venomous hate of Jews and Israel that the Lebanese population she lived in...including the Christians indoctrinated everyone in.
She lived as a young girl with her parents in a bombed out wreck of a cellar for seven years during the Beirut Civil War, when her mother was severely injured by a muslim artillery shell. Her only recourse was to take her mother over the border to Israel for help...the bloodthirsty, evil Jew Israelis that she hated.
She said the hatred and venom against Jews is baked into all of them at birth, Christians and Muslims alike. It comes in the mother’s milk. All the stuff, including the blood libel of how they kidnap Muslim Children so they can drain their blood and use it in their special “holiday pastries”.
So, she was terrified when she had to turn to the Israelis for her mother’s medical care.
What she found was people who took her in, cared for her mother, gave her food and clothes, and treated her as well as they treated each other. She was astonished to find that everything she had heard about them were lies.
It is quite a story. So, she understands them all too well. And I have no doubt how Brigitte Gabriel would feel about the scumbag Ilhan Omar and her Sharia Law.
Like maybe he witnessed executions/rapes of hostages or had info about their operations.
They kept him prisoner because they want to exchange him for Hamas murderers who were captured on October 7 or thereafter, or for other Islamist murderers who are serving sentences in Israeli prisons.
Huh ... The “Third Reich” style Jew-haters have a certain look they satirize in their more disgusting cartoons. Something about “noses”.
The Arab patient and his friend more closely resemble that look than does the Jewish physician.
It’s kinda funny ... if you find humor in ironic stupidity
