Kyiv warns Belarus to pull its troops back from the Ukrainian border or risk making a 'tragic mistake' as 'Wagner forces join war games on frontier' amid growing fears Lukashenko may order invasion

Kyiv has warned Putin-allied Belarus to pull its troops back from the Ukrainian border or risk making a 'tragic mistake'.

Ukraine's foreign ministry accused Belarus of 'concentrating a significant number of personnel on the countries' in the Gomel region near Ukraine's northern border 'under the guise of exercises' in a statement last night.

It warned Belarus 'not to make tragic mistakes for their country under Moscow's pressure' and urged the country ruled by the iron fist of Putin-ally Alexander Lukashenko 'to cease unfriendly actions'.

Kyiv said Belarusian special forces and former Wagner mercenary fighters were among the troops at the border. Their equipment included tanks, artillery, air defence systems and engineering equipment.

The increased Belarusian activity near Ukraine's border has led to mounting fears that Lukashenko may order an invasion after he had allowed Russian troops to use his territory as a launchpad for their February 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

Ukraine's statement last night said that it 'has never taken and is not going to take any unfriendly actions against the Belarusian people'.

Belarusian President Lukashenko said on August 18 that Ukraine had stationed more than 120,000 troops at the border with Belarus, and deployed nearly a third of its armed forces along the entire border.

Belarus said on Monday that it sent aircraft, air defence forces and armour to its border with Ukraine.

Kyiv accused Belarus of building up equipment and troops on the border, saying it had recorded the presence of Wagner fighters - some of whom are being hosted by Belarus after their leader's failed rebellion last year.

Ukraine warned that military exercises in the border area pose a 'global security' threat due to how close the Chernobyl Nuclear Power plant - site of the world's worst nuclear disaster.

Probably just the Belarusians making noise to pin down Ukrainian troops on its border but it could be more. Attacking Russia seems to have enraged the Russians and now they are hitting the Ukrainians hard.

Belarus cannot field an entire division of combat personnel and equipment.

It’s a tiny and weak military force...56,000 in total. And none have any experience.

The question to be asked is...what is Ukraine up to here?

Zelensky cannot fight a war on two fronts, unless NATO/US intervenes. And I think this is what Zelensky wants.

Expanding the war to Belarus using resources from the Baltics and Poland the militantly anti-Russia states in the orbit of Ukraine is a possibility.

And while your eyes are diverted you'll be hit elsewhere.

They never learn.

The question to be asked is...what is Ukraine up to here?

Ukraine and Poland don't want to take the primarily Muslim Asian Refugees that the EU requires they admit and Ukraine and Poland agreed to admit under UN and EU international agreements.

The Primary and Internationally agreed Refugee travel route is thru Belarus to Poland.

Poland illegally used military units and barriers to close their borders.

Belarus regularly destroys the barriers and supports the Refugees, until they get across the border, with their military.

Theoretically, Poland cannot force the Refugees back to Belarus as it is a Human Rights Crime that won't be overlooked like barriers at the border.

Mysteriously, many Islamic Refugees die unfortunate, unexplained deaths in the Polish countryside near the border.

If Belarus move their military back from the Ukraine border Poland wouldn't have to admit a single agreed upon Muslim Refugee, and Belarus would be stuck with the Muslim Refugees and costs, that UN, EU and NATO actions created.

Just one of the many games played in a war.

I’ve heard Ukraine has 100k troops on the boarder. They are probably planning an incursion into Belarus similar to the one in Russia.

It is obvious that Putin is overwhelmed and is using a chess piece to relieve the pressure on Kursk. I think it is prudent for Poland to make some statement to Lukashenko so that he understands that he could take the war to another level.

The Ukrainians can march into Minsk to overthrow Lukashenko and then he'll have to flee to Moscow. A new regime will take over Belarus. Unless Putin sends 50,000 Russian troops to occupy the country. But they're all in Ukraine.

Using conscripts will not work. They were defending the border in Kursk. We all know what happened.

Nothing is going to happen on that northern Ukrainian border.

Kiev is 60 miles south from the Belorussian border and about 200 miles west from Kursk Oblast in Russia. That Ukraine has recently invaded and taken over ...lolzzzzzz
