A “possible cyberattack” led to an internet outage and web system issues at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Saturday, the Port of Seattle reported.
The agency posted an initial alert on the social media platform X shortly after 9 a.m., advising passengers to check with their airlines for the latest information on their flights.
In an afternoon update, the Port confirmed the possibility of a cyberattack and said it had “isolated critical systems.” The Port did not have a timeline for restoration.

TechCrunch reports: "As of Sunday morning Pacific time, the Port of Seattle’s public-facing web infrastructure, including its website, still appeared to be largely offline, per a TechCrunch review of its DNS records."
Geekwire reports: "Port of Seattle investigating ‘unauthorized activity’ that led to cyberattack; no timeline for outage fix...The outage is impacting baggage services and screens inside the terminal showing flight information at Sea-Tac Airport.There were long check-in lines at the airport Sunday, and some passengers were being checked in from a printed list."

So many coincidences. Yet it feels like what the jihadis do just before they fly planes full of people into skyscrapers.
