The Donald Trump and Kamala Harris campaigns traded barbs Monday over debate rules Monday, with the former accusing the latter of playing "games" as Harris' team seeks to make microphones live throughout the event.
After Trump suggested in a Truth Social post that he might skip the ABC debate on Sept. 10 in Philadelphia, spokesman Jason Miller said the Harris campaign was trying to change the set-up of the debate that had already been laid out.
"Enough with the games," Trump spokesperson Jason Miller told Fox News Digital in a statement. "We accepted the ABC debate under the exact same terms as the CNN debate."

One obvious problem here: these are not actual debates, they are question and answer stunts with all the questions from the so called moderator. There is no back and forth and the candidate can’t pose questions to the other to answer, so it’s not a debate. I believe Trump should insist on 3 real debates or nothing.

Honestly, im leaning towards this not mattering at all. It will not expose her because the media WILL cover for her and set the narrative no matter what. Stop playing to the national media. Trump did a huge interview with Musk, adin Ross, theo von and Bryson. All had huge viewership and all greatly positive. What is the evidence that “owning the news cycle” on abc, nbc etc is really that important. It’s all negative whether he owns it or not.

The trouble with "nothing" is that voters won't see Kamala trying to think for herself. They will see Kamala reading.
Kommiela is supposedly doing a TV interview before the debate. Trump needs to cool down and see how much damage she does to herself, then decide if he wants to debate her.
I don’t like the idea of President Trump getting on the same stage with a Jamaican/Injun REFUGEE. She is not an American. She’s a boatload of bananas.

I think some undecided voters can watch Kamala perform and learn. It’s harder to convince them when she is just reading.
