A derailment of a mile-long freight train that injured two crew members overnight is under investigation. It happened in the eastern part of Boulder near Foothills Hospital, close to the intersection of Arapahoe Avenue and 48th Street.

The train workers were taken to the hospital and were released on Friday morning.

The crash destroyed a rail bridge and some trees were knocked down, but there was no other damage aside from the damage to the train cars. The derailment stretches across a wide area and is expected to take a while to clean up.

A real train wreck, not unlike the doings of Commie Herass.

A lot of things go off the rails when they get near the People’s Republic of Boulder.

The BNSF has too many fast drivers. Let’s keep the shiny side up.

That’s strange given how often I see rail-equipped pickup trucks driving rails to check them in Colorado.

there’s definitely a pattern of train derailments and bridge collapses within the past few years...

Google Maps shows a private driveway crossing the tracks between two corporate parking lots right near there.

The conductor is in charge of the train, the engineer just drives it. Also, if the unions were strong, they would still have a brakeman, and a fireman as part of the crew.

Once upon a time there was an engineer.
Drove a locomotive both far and near.
Accompanied by a monkey that would sit on a stool
Watching everything the engineer would do
One day the engineer wanted a bite to eat,
He left the monkey sitting on the driver’s seat,
The monkey pulled the throttle, the locomotive jumped the gun
And did 80 miles an hour down the mainline run.

These are on purpose by either greenies, blm types or chinese. I Link these with the chicken plants and food processing plants burned. A huge Krieder farm was torched here in PA. SO i od pay attention to these events. We have a chessie line behind our house. They got new engines. very quiet and the horns sound interesting.
