“PBS NewsHour” senior correspondent Judy Woodruff issued an apology Wednesday after her comments about former President Trump’s role in Gaza cease-fire talks sparked criticism.
“The reporting is that former President Trump is on the phone with the prime minister of Israel urging him not to cut a deal right now because … it’s believed that would help the Harris campaign,” Woodruff said while broadcasting from the Democratic National Convention on Monday.

Such a wonder. Next thing you know Leslie Stahl will be apologizing for her interview with Trump in 2020 where she said there was no evidence the laptop was genuine
Not only did she repeat the story about the now denied meeting, she added her own twist to it by saying what Trump’s agenda and motive was without any basis in fact whatsoever…and then lied about that as well.
Woodruff “clarified” but damn well & smugly knew the damage was already cemented in the minds of viewers & listeners of liberal media.
As usual, it is make the hi-decibel, flagrant charge, then extend your remarks in a perfunctory manner, safe in the knowledge that everyone sees the damning initial report but few will see, or care about, the revised statement.
Woodruff lets other news agencies do the investigating/inventing for her. What does she care? She gets paid no matter what.
Its called election interference!
Woodruff made the charge Monday but waited until Wednesday to offer a mea culpa of sorts.
A charge no doubt already echoed all over the internet by that time.
So she said ithe incorrect info at first on PBS NewsHour and basically her retraction was done on social media where I’m sure the same numbers heard it. Right.
Why would anybody care, everybody knows that PBS is a socialist-liberal-communist front organization sucking off the taxpayers teat.
Nobody but LIB/SOCIALIST/PROG/COMMUNIST/ANTIFA scumbags were watching the D umb N umb C retin convention anyway.
