CHICAGO, Illinois — The delegates at the Democratic National Convention rose to their feet, and stayed there, as the parents of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, one of five living American hostages still being held captive by Hamas, spoke on Wednesday.
Like the Republican National Convention last month in Milwaukee, which featured the parents of another American hostage, Omer Neutra, Democrats gave a speaking slot to Goldberg-Polin’s parents, both Chicago-born.

He is the young man whose arm was severed in the attack. If he is still alive, he’s had a horrific time. I will be shocked if he is alive.
Sick of the VP and her team to use them as props when so little is being done by her and Biden’s administration to get their release.
And it should cost them the Jewish ✡️ vote.
Yes, truly shocking how Biden has done "so little" for Israel since October 7.
US has sent Israel thousands of 2,000-pound bombs since Oct. 7.
All the US assets that helped repel Iran’s attack on Israel.
US approves $20 billion in weapons sales to Israel, including 50 fighter jets.
If he’s still alive, it’s a miracle.
Sending munitions isn't returned hostages. Largest, most highly trained military and we can't get our people out. Disgusting.
Pony that s**t up with your bad a$$ self!!!
The administration is trying to thread the needle on the Israel issue—providing a lot of aid and support (as you correctly noted) while trying to look good for the Pali supporters in the Democratic Party with lots of vocal demands on the Israeli side.
Those are the kinds of strategies that get everybody to hate you.

Way to NOT go Joe.
Yes, it “should.”
That’s the problem with little tots taught by mommy about politics and then never outgrowing it as aging adults.
Jewish people are sold out again and again by Dems similar to how they treat black people. Get in line, vote, contribute, then we’ll forget all about you until the next election comes around. And try not to give us any trouble in the meantime.
Suckers.
One of the Israel lobby's talking points has always been that the IDF is the bravest, more capable military in the world. Mossad is the bravest, most brilliant intelligence agency in the world. All Israel requests is the tools to get the job done.
Well, Biden has provided the IDF and Mossad with tons of money and weapons. And so now ... the U.S. must also invade Gaza and do Israel's fighting for it?
Kamala hasn’t followed through with arms shipments.

I can easily see the Dims thinking this was a twofer.
They get sympathy for the poor Jewish parents who are devastated by the capture and treatment by the savages. All Jews and Christians are deeply moved
The muslims agree with all that showing the devastated parents and being deeply moved, too.
Who said anything about invading Gaza? Does it take invading Gaza to get back the hostages?
Does Nuseirat ring a bell? Find out where they're held, blast the ever living *^<> out of anybody who gets in the way in rescuing them and bring everybody home. Oh, some people got killed during the raid? Then maybe you should have considered the consequences BEFORE you kept them as hostage. No sympathy from me on this one.
During the night Abram divided his men to attack them and he routed them...
I’ve posted a proposal for a day of bombing halts for each hostage freed.
That would give most Gazans an incentive to facilitate the return of hostages.
There are probably at least two dozen hostages HAMAS leadership has no direct control over.
Perhaps Google and Apple can help determine who the kidnappers were.
Once the kidnappers are identified, hostage location would be easier.
