Russian troops have been seen taped to trees and beaten by furious commanders as punishment for being drunk on the frontllines of Vladimir Putin's brutal invasion of Ukraine, new footage has revealed.
Footage posted online showed the troops being tied to trees in an unknown forest near the front.
A foul-mouthed officer berates the soldiers for getting drunk on duty, a major problem in Putin's ranks.
He barked: 'What the f*** were you doing?'
He told one: 'I think you're f***ing lost.'
The officer then asked another: 'Are you a drunk too?'
Then he orders an underling to beat the alleged military drunks.

There have been reports of Russian troops thrown into Putin's meat-grinder war resorting to vodka and drugs on the frontline.
Alcohol abuse among Russian soldiers has led to indiscipline, decreased operational readiness, and incidents of violence and accidents, according to anecdotal evidence.
Last year, the UK's Ministry of Defence claimed Russia was facing an 'extremely high' number of 'incidents, crimes and deaths linked to alcohol consumption.'
It added that binge drinking on the front lines was 'tacitly accepted' by Russia's top brass, even during combat operations.

Ivan is taped to a tree
Two Ivans are taped to trees
They could’ve never faked that. The guy is taped to a tree, and someone is berating him in the Russian language. Probably ad real as that doctored video of Hitler dancing a jig in Versailles in World War II.
Much more likely to be some captured Russian soldiers in the Kursk area being abused by Ukrainians who dreamed up a propaganda vid. No source, no location, nothing.
When you tape a drunk to a tree, do you use duck tape or duct tape?
Well that’s one way to insure you get your ass fragged.
During WW 2, Stalin had NKVD troops behind the Russian army to shoot any Russian soldier that retreated.
Taping people to trees and lamp posts is a trademark Ukrainian abuse thing.
Daily Mail is back to their “grandmothers with broomsticks fight-off Russian brigade” style of asinine and emotive “reporting.”
thanks for sharing it.
To us in America, it seems both amusing and near unbelievable that in year 2024, trained soldiers would be treated this way, but we should never forget that historically, during a time of war, disruptive behavior has at times resulted in the imprisonment or shooting death of that soldier.
This is done to put an end to the distracting behavior and to put an end to the wasted materials keeping that drunken soldier alive. There is nothing gentlemanly or genteel about on the ground war.
Massive Russian Advance At Pokrovsk And Toretsk Front
Alexander Mercouris on Ukraine in the Kursk region: "There is nothing being achieved here. All that is being achieved is that Ukraine's last and best reserves are destroyed. They are being sacrificed to achieve and information purpose even as the frontlines everything where else collapse."
Here I thought the word “thug” originated in India.
Nothing new. The Russians have treated their enlisted men badly for centuries.
Sounds like a good idea. I hate drunks. Lots of talk that kammy is a drunk; she sure acts like one. Cannot talk intelligently about anything. Ask her a question and she laughs!
Zeppe4 logic : Russia is inept and also the biggest threat to the US.
What’s the deal with the different uniforms and the tennis shoes?
