The whole ‘opoid crisis’ that the media loves reporting about is basically limited to addicts who buy their opiates on the streets. Deaths from legal, doctor prescribed opiates happen, but they’re a small part of overall overdose deaths.
In 2021, over 107,000 Americans died of overdoses—the highest total ever recorded.
Some 71,000 were from fentanyl . . . sourced from China.
