WARSAW (Reuters) - Ukraine is reaping "huge political gains" from its military offensive into western Russia but the incursion is not altering the "anti-escalation approach" of the West, Polish Interior Minister Tomasz Siemoniak said.

Ukraine says it has seized more than 80 settlements over 1,150 square km (444 square miles) in Kursk since Aug. 6 in the biggest invasion of Russia since World War Two. Reuters could not independently verify the battlefield developments.

"This offensive does not change the anti-escalation attitude of the West," Siemoniak said, asked in an interview with Reuters late on Friday if Kyiv's military gains could change its allies' stance on the use of arms they supply for its war with Russia.

This is a change in tone from Poland, who once was the biggest advocate for more and longer range arms.

The same day Germany announces they are cutting off Ukraine.

Poland has pissed Germany off so badly Germany is considering making parts of Poland Germany again.

It's fun to watch Socialist Nations try to screw one another.

Any “ huge political gains” are not coming from where Ukraine needs them to come…from Russia and China. In fact, Zelensky’s mad scheme to attack a nuc power plant for whatever reason, ended Russia’s willingness to deal with him, and also alienated China, as a potential arbiter.

The West is backing Zelensky with all the power of its information control, the MEdia and US politicians magnifying the effect of the incursion on the Russian leadership and population…but also throwing Zelensky under the bus, diplomatically, by claiming the Kursk raid was all Zelensky’s idea with no US/Western knowledge or support.

The Ukes have lost huge amounts of equipment ( photographic evidence supports) and thousands of some of their best troops, running through a sparsely settled heavily forested region to plant flags in small settlements that have no military value….unlike the settlements fortified towns and cities being ground down, cleared of Ukes, and becoming part of the Russian rear area in Donetsk, as continues the relentless advance of the Russians through Donetsk, troops undiverted by Zelensky’s Kursk operation.

The shine is wearing off for those in the west too.

Putin never had any interest in negotiating with Zelensky in the first place.

Special Operation is over. NATO capitals now coming to grips with Russian change of response to NATO involvement.

Ukraine designated a Terrorist State.

Fog of War in Kursk may be a result of the Anti-Terrorism Operations being conducted by the FSB, not ministry of defense, and the fact that every Unrainian soldier in Russia is being dealth with as a terrorist, taking prisoners is not a desirable in Anti-Terrorist Operations by Moscow.

This reminds me of Napolonic warfare of 1812 all over again. Which countries will grab which parts of Ukraine that Russia doesn’t want? It is sad really, all those young people killed for Blackrock and soros.

No, this is another example of your Peeper trolling. The next friggin paragraph:

“Warsaw has been one of the staunchest allies of Ukraine and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk struck a similar tone to Washington earlier this week, saying Ukraine had full right to carry out its war response in a way that would effectively paralyse Russia.”

It’s very convenient. While the pollock lollipop heads are at war with russian mafia, Germany can once again help itself to the land West of the Vistula.
