Former President Donald Trump announced his White House transition team Friday, revealing the key members who will prepare his day-one rollout.
The team will include Linda McMahon and Howard Lutnick as co-chairs, and some of Trump’s closest allies as honorary chairs, including his vice president, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, and his eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
McMahon is a former professional wrestling performer and business executive who served as Trump’s administrator of the Small Business Administration during his first term before chairing the super PAC America First Action.
Lutnick, the CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, is a billionaire who has held fundraisers for Trump during the 2020 and 2024 election cycles.
Both of the former president’s eldest sons have been active with him on the campaign trail and are also leaders of the Trump Organization.
Eric Trump introduced his father at the Republican National Convention while Trump Jr. has spoken about his desire to have a “veto” on who will serve in his father’s administration, and this role gives him the opportunity to do so.
A presidential transition team is usually responsible for vetting potential administration leaders and other personnel and appointees, establishing plans for policies and managing the White House rollout, as the president has to be ready to serve on the first day.
Trump’s team is under the name Trump Vance 2025 Transition Inc., and is a 501(c)(4) organization separate from the campaign.

I’m voting for the Electoral College and for the Republic in which we live.
I’m voting for the Police to be respected once again and to ensure Law & Order. I am tired of all the criminals having a revolving door and being put back in the street.
I’m voting for the continued appointment of Federal Judges who respect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
I’m voting for keeping our jobs to remain in America and not be outsourced all over the world - to China, Mexico and other foreign countries. I want USA made.
I’m voting for secure borders and have legal immigration. I can’t believe we have actually have flown 380,000 illegal immigrants into our country. Biden direct flights from Mexico to US Cities – crossing the border in the Air
I am voting for doing away with all of the freebies given to all of the illegals and not looking after the needs of the American citizens.
I’m voting for the Military & the Veterans who fought for this Country to give the American people their freedoms.
I’m voting for the unborn babies that have a right to live. God approves
I’m voting for peace progress in the Middle East. God approves
I’m voting to fight against human/child trafficking.
I’m voting for Freedom of Religion. God approves
I’m voting for the right to speak my opinion and not be censored. I am voting for the return of teaching math, history, and science instead of indoctrination of our children and pronouns.
I’m not just voting for one person. I’m voting for the future of my Country.
I’m voting for my children and my grandchildren to ensure their freedoms and their future.
I’m voting against communism and socialism.
Trump and Vance are the means by which all of the above gets accomplished.

Howard Lutnick??? I used to work for that idiot (indirectly) about 34 years ago at CF. We used to call him “cement head”. And his dad, Bernie Cantor, was a huge Clinton supporter.

I’m watching JD Vance give a quick speech and taking questions. I’ll say it again. If elected he should debate every democrat with eyes on the WH, one subject at a time. The there’s the unfinished business with the Kenyan. Challenge him to one. Call him out.
If Trump can win with a solid cooperative House/Senate majority the next 4 years could be epic.

It is kind of sad when the only people you can trust to not stab you in the back are your own family.
I still remember all the cartoons drawn throughout Trump’s first Presidency of various Swamp Rats with dripping knives in their hands.
I wonder if they’re going to have to carry Biden out of the White House first. I could see Secret Service doing this with Jill clinging to Joe’s ankles. Also wonder how much coke and weed they’ll find.
