Surely you don’t mean those words to describe our great president’s speeches.
The propaganda media almost never broadcasts Trump‘s entire speeches, but they watch carefully hoping they can find a “gotcha” moment that they can take out of context and frame with their commentary to make him look bad.
In this instance, they count on their viewers never learning that he said “for me”.
Is what he said factual? Sounds like all he said was with one you’re badly wounded or dead and with onw you’re alive and can appreciate it. This is nothing. They are trying to take the pressure off of stolen valor Tim. When the Rats have a problem they try and make it a Trump problem. I saw a story that said Trump was for single payer and now he’s not then they said same thing with Kama Kameleon so I guess it’s a wash. More of the Democrat response team making crap up.

Very true. The Medal of Freedom is pointless, made up, purely political crap "award." Full-of-themselves politicians handing out glitz to full-of-themselves celebrities, for the most part.
And here Trump prefaces his remarks by stating that the Medal of Freedom is the "equivalent of the Congressional Medal of Honor." I mean, that's what the man said, right? Isn't that the problem here?

Whatever he meant, it eats up a news cycle on a non-issue.
We can guess as to what he meant, that the condition of the recipient of the Medal of Freedom is “better” than that of the typical recipient of the Medal of Honor, but even a light-hearted disparagement of the latter is a goof.
That’s why so many make asinine claims about Trump’s comments.
