Republican US. presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Thursday he told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during their last meeting in July to quickly end Israel's war in Gaza, but the former president also criticized ceasefire demands.
"He knows what he's doing, I did encourage him to get this over with," Trump told reporters at a press conference on Thursday. "It has to get over with fast. ... Get your victory and get it over with. It has to stop, the killing has to stop."

Calm down, Trump tells him to go in, full throated and end them, finish it quickly. He’s not calling for negotiated settlement with Hamas. If the President said the same thing Hamas would be crapping their pants and trying to get the best deal they could. As it stands the Harris regime is negotiating on their behalf using Iran’s threats as leverage. Not at all the same no matter what these hacks say.
Sounds like a call to scorched earth victory, IMHO.

I only approve of a cease fire when every single damn member of Hamas is DEAD..PERIOD..end of story..as long as there is any Hamas still left, there is no point in having a cease fire because they will regroup and do this again 2 yrs from now, wont take them long to do this again and again and again..if Trump had been President, he would have told BiBi, do what you have to do and this whole thing could have been over with in 2 months tops, but because of Biden and his fears of pissing off the pro hamas base, this lingered for far too long than it had to be
Wars end when one side is defeated.
Proportional responses, stalemates, tit-for-tat just prolongs the conflict and suffering.
Netenyahu has been WAY to soft. NEVER fight a war halfway.
Hamas logic today is to continue the war and hope like hell Kamala wins. If she wins Hamas wins. If Trump wins, Hamas will be systematically be destroyed street by street, building by building, tunnel by tunnel and it will be a great day.
Many non combatants will die due to the tactics of Hamas using them as shields. Oddly most of which support Hamas. Israel could have ended this war months ago by going total war and just kill with abandon. They did not as they are moral. Hamas is not.
In WWII we burned German cities to ashes with incredible loss of civilian life, the Brits did this. We nuked Japan twice and also fire bombed major cities with losses of life far greater than from our nukes. It worked!
If one is willing to “Cry Havoc and let slip the Dogs of War” you may not need to do this if your enemy understands your belief.
War sucks but tyranny and defeat is worse.

That was my suggestion last year, except flood the whole Gaza City like the Ents did to Isengard. Gaza is flat and not far above sea level. Build a low wall around it using concrete Jersey barriers, which are cheap and plentiful, pump seawater in until the water level is steady. When the water stops going down you’d know when all the tunnels were flooded, then let the water out.
