Fourteen pro-Palestinian protesters were taken into NYPD custody as they clashed with police in Harlem across the street from a fundraiser for Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential bid, cops said Thursday.
Roughly 300 demonstrators were barricaded on W. 135th St. and Broadway on Wednesday evening, with some of their placards declaring “Kamala=Genocide” and “Silent on Genocide” while chanting “Genocide is not a single issue, genocide is every issue.”
The surging presumptive Democratic presidential candidate did not attend the fundraiser.
“We’re protesting Kamala Harris,” Manhattan lawyer J.J. Abbas, 34 said. “The U.S. gave another 20 billion dollars out of our taxpayer’s dollars to kill Palestinians. The entire Biden administration is complicit in the annihilation of Palestinians in Gaza.”

Why cant they leave Kamala alone? Harris is very, very busy.

I was convinced the DNC would be virtual just so the public would not see the rioters/protestors/agitators/paid activists being violent on camera.
I suspect they may fence off a large area around the convention - just as they did when Biden was installed.
So it all looks “peaceful” and “happy.”
I hope it is just a clusterf... it would be awesome.
Whatever the perimeter is, the protesters will be making noise outside it, and video of the demonstrations will be on the nightly news.

I'm sure the Dems will try to do that, but no guarantee the demonstrators will cooperate. Especially the anti-Israel ones.
And unlike 1968, a lot of the disorder will be "regular" criminals looking for a big payday.
