The United Auto Workers union said Tuesday that it filed federal labor charges against former President Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk after the duo's conversation on X veered into talk about workers striking.
Why it matters: The UAW recently endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris' 2024 bid, while the union is also aiming to organize Tesla workers. Driving the news: The UAW said it filed the charges against Trump and Musk "for their illegal attempts to threaten and intimidate workers who stand up for themselves by engaging in protected concerted activity, such as strikes."

Private Industrial unions like UAW are, IMHO, hardly worth commenting on
The TRUE union threat to the nation and the Republic are public employee, government unions.

if the rumors are true, they are about to lose Chrysler/dodge to BYD (burn your dreams) a chinese owned EV maker. The UAW will not be included in the sale I am sure.

I suspect the UAW is responsible for killing more American jobs than ANY other entity, including the federal government.

Total nonsense. Going nowhere.
The Left has totally lost their mind, or whatever part of it remains.

Good riddance. All you union workers... Learn to code. Your union bosses will still get their kick backs when you are replaced with illegals or Mexicans.

UAW should be all on board with Trump since he wants to restrict mass immivasion and protect actual American worker jobs.
Instead they side with the foreign gangsta grrl who has been flooding the country with their replacements.

These people are not over paid IMO:
"The average salary for UAW union line workers is $25 per hour or $52,771 per year1. Full-time union workers at Big Three automakers are paid between $17 and $33 per hour, which is about $35,000 to $68,000 per year for a 40-hour workweek2"
