Democrats are absolutely tone deaf. After 91 felony charges, they still don’t get it. Everything they’ve tried has backfired, yet they continue to double down.
Not for Trump but for the election i think the best scenario is that theybdebate before sentencing, She does poorly and then Trump gets sent right to jail. Trying to be objective I think her first debate will not go well because she hasn’t been challenged in 4 years. It tends to happen to all incumbents.

Already polls show her honeymoon is fading, and convention bounces don’t last more than a week. If Trump is ahead, the pressure to imprison him will be overwhelming. If Harris is leading, the pressure will be less, but still can’t rule out anything.
Democrats are completely immune to political reality and any sense that their actions could have serious consequences that ultimately defeat their goal.

Dems are not immune to making epically disastrous political miscalculations.
The case so compromised there is no way he can legally sentence Trump but following the law has not stopped him yet so we will see.
