Can you imagine the damage radiation would do to Moscow from a blown up nuke plant?
To: Alter Kaker
He may just think this justifies using tactical nukes to force them to keep their distance.
Just sayin’.

Meh, I’ve seen that nonsense coming from both sides. If it wasn’t so serious it would be comical.

Can you imagine the damage radiation would do to Moscow from a blown up nuke plant? Putin would likely nuke Kiev.

Russians are crazy. Hope the powers that are in charge of this s-show are considering that in their strategy sessions.
To: Alter Kaker
Shame on Ukraine! Where did they get the idea that invading another country was an acceptable practice??
Oh, wait...
To: Engraved-on-His-hands
The Ukrainians are breaking the rules! The rules! All the very serious Russians on FR are saying this means World War III

The Ukranians can safely blow up Kursk II which isn’t operating yet. It has been under construction for six years and is almost finished. It is less than two miles from the operating reactors in the Kursk nuclear power plant.
To: DownInFlames
Can you imagine the damage radiation would do ...
Both the Ukes and the Russians have first-hand knowledge of dangers that malfunctioning nuke plants represent. If the Ukes wanted to blow up the plant they could have done so with missiles, but that would be nuts.

If the Ukrainians wanted to blow up the plant, they would have done it from aa far. They want to control the plant and direct the power to their side of the border.

At present the Ukrainians are too spread out in Kursk for tactical nukes to be effective. They are best used on concentrated troops.
