Less than two weeks before protesters are expected to march on the Democratic National Convention, pro-Israel advocates gathered in Chicago to warn that demonstrations could lead to violence and “anti-American” acts, an allegation one pro-Palestinian group characterized as baseless fearmongering as the event approaches.
The Israel-Hamas war triggered by the Oct. 7 terror attack has led to tens of thousands of deaths and widespread destruction and starvation in Gaza, accusations of detainee abuse and ongoing fears of a wider war in the Middle East. Protesters around the country have heavily criticized the Biden administration’s response to the conflict and Democratic politicians’ support of Israel, including during a wave of unrest at college campuses across the country.
Protests have persisted nationally and here in Chicago, said David Goldenberg of the Anti-Defamation League, citing demonstrations in Washington, D.C., at which flags were burned and landmarks defaced. Their fear, speakers said at a Thursday news conference at the Jewish United Fund, is that outside protesters would escalate an already tense convention environment and encourage violence against Jewish people.

Palestinians plus whoever else wants something from the Democratic Party plus "normal" criminals taking advantage of the chaos.
And, if this happens, America will be reminded of just who and what we are dealing with in a Kamaltoe-Walz world
Nothing is decided with Kamala until this convention is over. Or walz.
Im sure they will be told to stand down until further notice
Some of that “Antifa/BLM Minneapolis-styled street-burning, store-looting, pro-Hamas riot” will be saved for Election Day in key states to serve as a decoy while truckloads of preprinted Demonicrat ballots are off-loaded at various precincts.
Most groups will fall in line with the Party directives.....after all, they wish to remain loyal party members in good standing.
Well if you were going to Rob a store in Chicago, the Democrat convention would be a perfect time because all the police will be covering the convention.
I read somewhere that Mrs. O’Leary and her Cow are headed to Chicago.
Is a “Hot Time” in Chicago expected???
Kamala’s America - be ready for it just in case....

Prediction: When the inevitable happens, Democrats will blame Vladimir Putin and Elon Musk.
Aren't they keeping them a mile away? Nobody will even notice. Dems were for protests before they were against them.
Change their ticket to who?
They can’t get more pro-terrorist than these two morons.
If we’re lucky, the Chicago Convention and surrounding area will devolve into an Antifa/BLM Minneapolis-styled street-burning, store-looting, pro-Hamas riot.
The networks will only be showing they glowing outpouring inside the convention hall. The chaos on the streets will not be seen outside Chicago.
A bit factious as anything really bad will be reported, but the message will be that these are Nazi/Antifa/Trump agitators which the queen’s election will quell.
If someone starts smashing store windows, starting fires, beating up suspected Jews a mile away, it will be noticed.
And that's supposing they can 100% be kept a mile away.
Just sayin'
Walz is going to rue the day he ever accepted the VP nomination offer.
“Coach” Walz is in the big leagues now—and every nanosecond of his miserable pervert life is going to be put under an electron microscope.
It sounds far out (even crazy as my bride of 40 years told me), but I posted this possible scenario a couple of days ago ... for your consideration:
*********
Harris hasn't yet shown she is a viable candidate against Trump. Oh, the needle moved, but only due to the actions of the media and the Party. Harris hasn't demonstrated she can move the needle, much less maintain it. With this move this morning [Walz selected as VP], the Dems have to know that their socialist ticket has little chance of beating Trump ... but now they've set up an "August Surprise" that will start in the next few days, ahead of the convention that begins on the 19th.
-- This weekend/early next week Biden announces he's done (or he's otherwise removed). Harris assumes the office.
-- After a day or two, Harris (or, better, the Party) announces that it is not humanly possible for Harris to function as President with all that's going on in the country and around the world (all Trump's fault, of course) and mount an effective campaign at the same time. So she must turn down the formal nomination at the convention (yeah, I know the media say she's the nominee; but actually she's the presumptive nominee until the convention, just as was Trump).
Although the fractured Democrat base will be furious and although they won't accept it at first, they will eventually come to understand why she can't do both; and the base will perhaps even like the idea of selecting a better candidate at the convention. (Whether or not Walz remains on the ticket is irrelevant as he is expendable and the Dems have Minnesota locked up anyway.) -- Who they'll nominate remains to be seen as even the big players like Newsom, Whitmer and a handful of other socialists biding their time to 2028, and who have been loathe to run this year as they would likely end up with a "loser" reputation for 2028, may be interested because, even when they lose, they would come across as heroes for stepping up when the Party needed them, even if they don't stop Trump (too little time to campaign; too late to overcome Trump's momentum, etc., etc.)
-- If you think this sounds far-fetched or even crazy, bear in mind that the Dems don't concede elections (which this morning's move with Walz can be incorrectly interpreted as a concession of sorts), and they sure as hell don't like losing their power. Agreed: This would be the "hail mary" of all "hail marys" ... but as we all know, desperate Democrat/Socialists will do anything and everything to win.
They need VP Tampon to handle security with the mostly peaceful protestors.
