They retreated too easily.
Unfortunately, their positions concerning normal Americans is still set as far as advertising goes. GARM may go, but their edicts will persist.
Shutting down their organization doesn’t mean that they won’t stop doing their dirty work ‘behind the scenes’.

They will be destroying their records and computers before they close their office. This is about preventing Musk from getting evidence.
Give Musk much kudos. The ability of creepy organizations like this to control information and censor increases exponentially unless they are significantly challenged.

Right, the gloabl adberstisers will simply informally continue GARM each on its own, with all mutual contact about it kept to private meetings, not any electronic communications.
I will never forget Rush talking about several attacks he would overcome by researching and exposing creepozoids like this. The Left was always threatening Rush and his advertisers. With the advent of social media, it was easy to make it look like hundreds of thousands of people were rejecting Rush, and his advertisers. Once Rush did a little digging, he determined that about 10 creeps were responsible for creating the impression of thousands. Once he demonstrated that to the companies that advertised on his show, they continued to buy commercial time.
As Rush says, they were confiscatory ad rates for the obscene profit center. However, as soon as a company paid and advertised, the reached millions of people, and there businesses grew and grew.
