Bingo! Vets hate stolen valor. We understand the nuances of his claims and how A-Waltz degraded those who earned the permanent rank of CSM. It is too late for him to step back and say, “My bad, I am a retired Master Sergeant.” Harris introduced him as “Command Sergeant Major.” He was a TEMPORARY CSM. When he did not fulfill the contract, he reverted to his permanent grade of E-8. He absolutely claimed to be a retired CSM. That is stolen valor.
