Saw video yesterday highlighting the two-tiered policing. The jackboots were telling black-bloc wearing Islamist and their supporters to just get rid of their weapons but they weren’t arresting them. They were, in some cases, violently arresting the citizens who were protesting the Islamists.

The way that Tim Walz, Mrs. Walz and their daughter Hope cheered on the BLM/Antifa rioters and looters in Minneapolish is reminiscent of the attitudes of much of Russia’s haute bourgeoisie toward the anarchists and communists on the brink of the revolution in the early 1910s. Russia’s upper-middle liberals believed that the czarist system was so hopelessly corrupt that their sympathies were with those who wished to tear everything down. Analogously, the Walzes expressly take the view that a society devoid of diversity, equity and inclusion deserves what it gets from the rioters and looters.
Probably not because we are accustomed after the cheat and fraud, to blame ourselves and the candidates that were cheated. It happens all the time now.
Then we say “we will get them next time”. But after this time our “next times” may well have run out.
I used to believe Americans would never let this happen. The reality is depressing.
If it gets to that point here, DC won’t be standing anymore.
I see that as one possible future.
