House Speaker emerita Nancy Pelosi confirmed that she spoke with President Biden and fielded calls from worried Democrats, many of whom were disgruntled about their 2024 election odds, before he quit the race.
Pelosi (D-Calif.), one of the most influential Democrats in Congress, in a Monday interview on ABC News’ “Good Morning America” denied that she “was burning up the airways” to push Biden out — right before divulging that she spoke to him after “people called me.”
“It was always about him,” the former House speaker claimed. “And why I said I didn’t make calls, because people said I was burning up the airways. No, I wasn’t.”
“The only person that I spoke to about this was the president. Other people called me about what their views were about it,” she added. “… I rarely even returned a call, much less initiated one.”

Well, they called her, so she didn’t call anyone.
That’s how that logic works.
Next she’ll admit that she DID call”a handful” of people.
Biden was always meant to be the brain dead punching bag to deflect the criticism of those who think that are in charge.
Pelosi said that she did not talk to one person. She fielded calls (plural). She did not lie as she talked to more than one person.
Are the Pelosis taking a bath on the stock exchange today or did they have inside information, again, and avoid losses?

The reverberated among millions of democrats and they burned her a NEW mouthhole so to speak. So now this morning “correction” which does NOT correct a thing- in fact, makes it worse.GOOD! Die demonrats, scramble get high and freaking die.

Likely literally true. Democrats are slick at parsing their words. Queen Nancy wouldn’t do something menial like placing phone calls. That’s what aides are for. The aide makes the call, and Nancy gets on when the other party does.
