On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Last Word,” Rep. Marilyn Strickland (D-WA) argued that Republicans tried to say that 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris “was a failed border czar, when, in fact, people coming over the southern border [have] decreased by 50% through President Biden’s executive order.” And “if anyone’s going to have responsibility” for the border, “it lands solely with Donald Trump.”
Strickland said, “So, remember, when Vice President Harris was announced as the person that President Biden supports, the attacks started immediately. First, they tried to say she was a failed border czar, when, in fact, people coming over the southern border [have] decreased by 50% through President Biden’s executive order. And there is a bill sitting in the Senate, a bipartisan bill to address the border that Donald Trump demanded not come to the floor. So, if anyone’s going to have responsibility, it lands solely with Donald Trump.”

If numbers are going down, it’s only because Mexico is almost empty.
Or they stopped counting like with the crime statistics.

Think about how much more we could accomplish as a country if Democrats put their energy behind something other than deception.
Yet another dizzy broad in Congress. The dumb broad thinks the numbers of invaders has fallen, come spend a little time in Texas. Where I live has turned into Juarez North! Walmart goods are almost all Mexican. They make code Adams in Spanish. The music is mariachi. Road Kill Street Taco trucks are everywhere. All the new vans and suvs driving around fly Mexican flags. Illegals have even brought Disabled Parking placards with them to hang from the mirrors of their new vehicles. I guess they’re tired of walking.

The numbers always go down during the season of 115 degrees in the shade. And we don’t record those who come in on planes.
Went to arizona last week for 5 days. Tried to walk to the convention center in Phoenix from the hotel and it was only 1/2 mile. Almost died doing it.
It’s a well-known fact that, people do not walk too far in the heat, much less the Arizona and Mexico and Texas heat. People die doing that, especially if they try doing that in 100+ degree hear. Numbers are cut down tremendously for border crossers during the summer months. If Biden and Kamala can take credit for the summer heat, then, mission accomplished with the lower number of border crossings. Otherwise, Biden and Kamala and Strickland are all full of krap.
Trump needs to close the border completely on Day One and let Mexico deal with the foreign citizens they allowed (via profiting by US human trafficking NGOs) into their country deal with their mess.
Offer Mexico $1 billion to deport the trash we don’t let into this country and maybe they get serious about not allowing themselves to be a staging station. Defund every human trafficking NGO immediately, have DHS and the IRS investigate and audit them, and prosecute all involved in allowing this trafficking.
Close the barn door after the horses have escaped ... these people are desperately hoping we are stupid.
Next they will blame Trump for 9-11. This is why our government is in so much trouble with illegal immigration, inflation, debt, etc.
If Biden/Harris had just continued Trump’s border policies from Day 1, we could have avoided this disaster from the start. As is, the only reason the numbers are dropping is because 3 years too late, they finally put back in place a few of Trump’s original policies.
