Homicides in Mexico declined last year to the lowest level since 2016, according to preliminary 2023 data published by the national statistics agency INEGI.

There were 31,062 homicides in 2023, INEGI said Thursday, a 6.7% decline compared to the 33,287 recorded in 2022.

The 2022 tally was revised upward from a preliminary count of 32,223. Comparing the preliminary data for 2022 and 2023, the decline in murders last year was a more modest 3.6%.

INEGI data shows that homicide numbers fell for a third consecutive year in 2023 after reaching an all-time high of 36,773 in 2020.

All of the murderers have come north to the United States.

I watched this mini-series a while back. It’s a few years old and don’t know how I missed it. Quite frightening actually, called Zero Zero Zero.

We are in a world of hurt and I’m sure they are all over here after our open borders the last nearly 4 years and 30,000,00 military age men coming across.

I am sure that number will rise sharply just soon as all of the folks vacationing in the US return to their native home land.

"Preliminary data shows homicides in 2023 at the lowest level Mexico has seen in years"

....... This is as a result of the hard work of Kamela an Joe .... Whether intentional or not ..... Those criminals have moved freely accross our border and into our country .... onto a new hunting ground for them to create their mayhem .....

So in other words, Biden/Harris have made the world safer at the cost of the more at risk American people due to unchecked mass migration? Mass migration that they have purposely instigated.

What did the missing persons, anti drug, or anti sex trafficking activist, assassination of officials and/or journalists numbers look like?

Is the FBI now in charge of crime stats in Mexico, too?

Does Mexico have Soros DAs letting criminals out the revolving door, too?

2023 - Mexico had 24 homicides per 100,000 population.

2023 - USA had 6.3 homicides per 100,000 population.

Homicide has a lot of sub-units.

It is not completely clear that Mexico counts the same way as the USA.

The 6.3 rate is Intentional Homicides. Does that include self defense homicides?

Unknown.

After the murder of Bobby Kennedy by a Palestinian Immigrant back in 1968, and the anti-gun hysteria that followed, a letter to the editor told how in Mexico there were more murders WITH KNIVES than all the gun murders in the US.

The editor poo-pooed the letter by saying “it was because Mexico has the cult of MACHO which the US does not have.”

Well, now it is here!
